Human-made Logos Are More Valuable Than Ever
As artificial intelligence is increasingly taking over different tasks and automating our daily activities, concerns regarding AI doomsday scenarios are becoming more prevalent. Although the benefits of automation are undeniable, there is still one crucial area where humans excel - the art of creating handmade logos.

Bespoke Branding by
Visual Communication
A BRAND IS...
Just as an interior gives you a certain instant feel, your company's Brand should convey the desired feeling to your ideal customer.
Branding relies on smart and thoughtful unique graphic design, i.e., what you want to communicate to your potential/existing customer about your brand/company visually.
It should be aligned with your company's values, mission and positioning, and in some cases, also hint at what the business or service is about.
Classic, simplified and longlasting
MY STYLE IS...
If you are looking for a whimsical and super-modern style for your Brand, I am not the right person for you. I believe the look of a Brand should be longlasting and not follow the latest trends, as they tend to age and become dated very quickly.
Each of the Three Brand Concepts include:
01
Main Logo
A logo can be a word-mark (or name-mark, if your brand is your name), initials, with or without a logomark, possibly representing the industry or the service you provide. You can leave this up to me or make your own suggestion in the questionnaire further down. Your main logo can also include a very short tagline that describes what your brand or service is about.
02
Secondary Logo
When you are in need of a more compact logo or when horizontal space is limited, think of a row of sponsor logos on a poster that needs to fit next to each other.
A secondary logo is also necessary if your main logo is not well suited to be shrunk to a very small size.
03
Favicon
A favicon is a tiny picture in the URL address line. You can also use it as a watermark on images and such.
A favicon can also be used as an app badge.
04
Headline Typeface
As the name implies, this font is eye-grabbing. You can use it in PPT headlines, posters and on any merchandise or application.
05
Bodycopy Typeface
This is a font chosen for so-called body-copy in longer texts. It is usually easier on the eye than headline font. The body copy should not be all-caps, but the Headline font can be all-caps.
06
Colour Palette
If you have a strong feeling about what colour palette will suit your brand, you can suggest it in the questionnaire, otherwise, you can leave it up to me to interpret. More on colours further down.
07
Image Examples
I always add some images to convey the feel of the concept and examples of how the logo can be used.
A Brand typically needs at least a logo, selected typefaces and a colour palette, giving you a coherent visual system resulting in a strong Brand and easily managed marketing material creation.
MY OFFER TO YOU
Three Brand Concepts
In her brief, she stipulated that the colour lavender is a must, as the products she imports are from Provence in France., where lavender fields are abundant and a symbol of the area.
She also wanted a dragonfly, as that is what the company name means.
I recommended a style that wasn't too feminine so that men would also be drawn to the products.
She ended up choosing my recommendation, which is the third one.
